Peter Julun Eymard Tungatalum is a Tiwi artist who lives in Darwin. He is a local character who tells stories, makes small, quirky paintings and proudly proclaims his Tiwi and Larrakia heritage.

His favorite theme is “Sea Life” that show various saltwater denizens, including a dugong, painted in his distinctive style. His artworks all have personalised captions on the back (see photo).
