Professor John Cawte is a well-known and respected writer on Aboriginal Australia.He was founder and honorary editor of the quarterly journal The Aboriginal Health Worker, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and a Distinguished Fellow of American Psychiatric Association.
