Artist BIOGRAPHY

Beverley Cameron was born in a creek at Ayeronga in 1957. She is of both Pitjantjatjara and Luritja language groups. Her father’s country is Tjimpi Downs and her mother’s place is Ayeronga. Beverley lived at Nyapari commuity and painted at Tjungu Palya until relocating to Fregon in 2014. She lives with her daughter Carol Stevens, who is also an artist at Kaltjiti Arts. Beverley has three children

Fregon is in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara/ Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands, far north west of South Australia.
