Description
This painting relates to the rockhole site of Kungkiyuni (Browns Bore), west of Haasts Bluff. A group of women, represented by the small central ‘U’ shape, camped at this site to perform ceremonies associated with the area. The arc shapes and encircling grid pattern in this painting depict the rocky outcrops as well as sand hills surrounding this site. The plant like shape represents the shrubs bush tomato and quandong.
